Dosage form. liquid for internal use, brown in color with a characteristic bitter-spicy odor.
Composition. Stevia leaf, celandine, wormwood, Saussurea willow, Siberian princeling, artichoke, aconite root, dandelion root, turmeric, milk thistle, horse chestnut fruit, viburnum berries, saffron, shiitake mushrooms, zinc chloride, aqueous-alcoholic or hydrochloric acid solution, etc.
Pharmacological properties and action. The mechanism of action of the drug consists of 2 phases: intestinal, in which the drug exhibits a detoxifying effect (due to the sorption of toxic products in the intestine, increasing the secretion of the gastrointestinal tract) and metabolic (hepatoprotective), in which the components of the drug restore the functional activity of the liver in case of various damages (including alcohol intoxication), stimulating the activity of its enzymes� systems (cytochrome P-450 and other microsomal enzymes) and, increasing bile secretion.
Enhances the detoxification and protein-synthesizing function of the liver, improves the metabolic ability of its cells.
The drug also reduces spasm of smooth muscle organs, while simultaneously enhancing intestinal motility, has an antiseptic effect, limits the processes of putrefaction and fermentation in the gastrointestinal tract, has antimicrobial properties against Staphylococcus aureus and a number of spore-forming bacteria, has an anthelmintic (roundworm, pinworms) and anti-giardiasis effect.
Indications for use: liver cirrhosis, hepatitis A, B, C, hepatosis, liver failure, drug and alcohol liver damage, poisoning, digestive disorders, cholecystitis, cholangitis, giardiasis of the biliary tract and intestines, cholelithiasis, helminthic infestation.
Method of use and dosage. 5 drops per 50-100 ml of water 30 minutes before meals or 1.5-2 hours after meals 3 times a day.
For acute food poisoning, 10 drops per 50-100 ml of water once a day, repeat if necessary on the 2nd and 3rd days.
To restore liver function, 5 drops per 50-100 ml of water 3-4 times a day for 1-2 weeks.
In each individual case, an individual treatment regimen, the duration of the course, as well as inter-course and intra-course breaks are determined by the doctor.
Side effects. Rarely, digestive disorders, skin rashes or itching. Possible mild anxiety and increased heart rate. If they appear, reduce the dose of the drug until they disappear.
Contraindications. Allergic reaction and individual intolerance to the components of the drug. Not recommended for pregnant, lactating women, gastric ulcers and erosive gastritis.
Storage life and conditions: 3 years, at room temperature in a tightly closed dark bottle or in the dark, out of the reach of children.
