Energy in the human body does not circulate randomly, but along twelve even and odd meridians (or channels). These meridians are conditional, they have a physical counterpart in the human body. The existence of meridians is confirmed by modern biophysics. Vital energy (in China it is called qi energy, or qi) passes through all organs of the body consecutively during the day, performing a complete cycle. Each meridian (channel) has a time of maximum and minimum activity. The period of maximum activity lasts two hours and is the best period for the therapeutic effect on the body.
